摘 要:“故土创伤——西方憧憬”是隐匿于新移民文学,特别是在加拿大新移民华文小说有关“八十年代”的写作之中的双向性情感、叙事结构。这与弥漫在新移民文学中的浓郁创伤情愫紧密相关。新移民作家所表述的“故土创伤”,虽有集体式公共创伤和个体式内心创伤两种类型之分,但都成了新移民远离故土,走向西方的情感动力。通过不断地重返“八十年代”,新移民作家逐渐揭示出,昔日的“西方憧憬”,一方面与中华民族文化自信的匮乏有关,同时又离不开隐匿于历史深处的“中弱西强”的“东西方语境”及其权力场域。基于此,“故土”上的“西方”才得以不断“魅化”,乃至“神化”。尽管新移民文学的“八十年代”与新时期文学具有某种同一性,但二者之间的差异不应该在“重返八十年代”之中被“同一”所遮蔽和遗忘。“Homeland trauma——longing for the West”is a bidirectional emotion and narrative structure hidden in the new immigrants’literary works,especially in the Canadian new immigrants’Chinese novels about the“1980s”,which is closely related to the strong traumatic sentiment pervading the new immigrant literature.Although there are two types of“homeland trauma”——collective public trauma and individual internal trauma described by the new immigrant writers,they all become the emotional motivation for new immigrants to leave their homeland and move forward to the West.By constantly returning to the“1980s”,new immigrant writers gradually reveal that the“longing for the West”in the past is related to the lack of self-confidence in the Chinese nation’s culture and is inseparable from the strong Western power in the history.Based on this,the“West”in the“homeland”can be continuously“enchanted”and even“deified”.Although the“1980s”of the new immigrant literature has a certain identity with the literature of the new era,the differences between the two should not be obscured and forgotten by“identity”in the“returning to the 1980s”.
