摘 要:中国与美国作为世界上最大的两个经济体,两国的贸易冲突备受学界关注,从语言学视角下的话语分析可以为话语策略提供建议。采用基于语料库的方法,对两国主流媒体中的相关英文报道进行元话语标注,检索后统计分析。两国主流媒体皆通过“互动式元话语”来建立与读者的联系,劝说读者并使其产生共鸣与思考,从而传达官方声音,表达态度。同时,中美两国的英文报道在“模糊限制语”与“态度标记语”的使用上存在显著差异,中方较多使用态度标记语来展示大国担当、中国态度,而美方较多使用模糊限制语渲染氛围操纵舆论导向,刻画美方“受害者”形象,有故意抹黑中方之嫌。差异归因于中美双方的宣传模式,美方深谙煽动性话语策略,中国应该考察受众的思维方式,在话语博弈中体现“中国智慧”。As the two largest economies in the world,the trade friction between China and the United States has attracted much attention in the academics.Discourse analysis from the perspective of linguistics can provide suggestions for discourse strategies.Based on a self-built small corpus,this studymakes an analysis and research of the interactive Meta-discourse in the English news of China-US trade friction in the mainstream media of China and the United States and finds that both China and the United States build up a connection with readers through Interactive Meta-discourse,persuading readers to resonate and think,thus conveying the official voice and expressing their attitude.Meanwhile,there are significant differences in the application of“hedges”and“attitude markers”in English reports between China and the United States.China uses more attitude markers to show China’s strong attitude towards trade wars,while more hedges are used in American news.At the same time,The US manipulates the public opinion orientation and strengthen the image of the“victims”of the United States by rendering panic atmosphere,which is suspected that they deliberately discredit China.The difference is attributed to the propaganda mode of China and the United States.The United States is well acquainted with inflammatory discourse strategy.Consequently,Chinashould be aware of thinking mode of the audience and display“Chinese wisdom”in the discourse battle.
