摘　　要：释佛经中的"枝掖"为枝叶,虽不是无稽之谈,但施之本文不协,以之解释他卷中的"枝掖"也不成文理。查阅佛经音义一类的工具书,再通过与异译相比对,"枝掖"或"枝棭"当释为相似、似是而非。揆之本文而协,验之他卷而通。Zhiye(枝掖)in Buddhist texts can be interpreted as branches and leaves,which,although not absolutely groundless,is inappropriate in understanding the investigated text and other volumes.According to some reference books such as the sound and meaning of Buddhist scriptures,this paper,by comparing with other interpretations,argues that zhiye(枝掖)or zhiye(枝棜)should be explained as similiar,specious,which is understandable and reasonable in the investigated text and in other volumes.
