‘Activated’Wet Processing Method and High&Low Temperature Performance of Buton Rock Modified Asphalt

摘  要:为了获取沥青融合度更高、性能更好的岩沥青改性沥青材料,利用“活化”湿法加工布敦岩沥青改性沥青,并对其高温性能、低温性能进行了测试。首先对自研发“活化”湿法加工工艺进行了阐述,其结合多种破碎方式,经高温“活化”、共同研磨过程,使岩沥青与沥青融合更充分、均匀。得到“活化”加工的岩沥青改性沥青后,通过沥青性能的常规试验与SHRP流变试验分析了其高温性能与低温性能。试验结果表明:“活化”湿法岩沥青提高了沥青的高温性能,随着岩沥青改性剂的加入,沥青软化点升高;由于岩沥青本身材料存在灰分的特点,延度不适用于评价其低温性能,因此采用SHRP试验的PG分级评价其高温性能及低温性能。“活化”加工的岩沥青改性沥青在老化前后的高温性能均高于70#基质沥青,老化前的高温性能高于SBS I-C;但其疲劳等级比基质沥青和SBS I-C改性沥青均有下降,说明应注意其耐久性,总体性能还应结合混合料试验综合评价。In order to obtain rock asphalt modified asphalt material with higher fusion degree and better performance,‘activated’wet processing method was applied to produce modified Buton Rock Asphalt(BRA),and its high and low temperature performance was tested.Firstly,the self-developed‘activation’wet processing technology was described.Several crushing methods were combined to activate the rock asphalt to make it broken more fully and evenly.After obtaining the‘activated’rock asphalt modified asphalt,the high temperature performance and low temperature performance of asphalt were analyzed by both conventional tests and the SHRP rheological tests.The tests results show that BRA produced by the‘activated’wet processing method has improved its high temperature performance.With the addition of rock asphalt modifier,the softening point of asphalt has been increased.Meanwhile,due to the ash content of rock asphalt,ductility is not suitable to evaluate its low temperature performance,therefore the PG classification of SHRP test is used to evaluate the high temperature and low temperature performance of the BRA.The high temperature performance of the‘activated’BRA before and after aging is higher than which of the 70#original asphalt,and better than which of the SBS I-C modified asphalt before aging.However,its fatigue PG level is lower than that of base asphalt and SBS I-C modified asphalt,which indicates that the durability should be concerned,and the overall performance should be comprehensively evaluated combinated with the mixture tests.
