摘 要:高校图书馆与教师在文献剔除工作中很容易产生矛盾,鼓励教师参与其中是缓解矛盾的有效办法,但我国在相关领域的研究和实践经验都相对缺乏。通过文献调研以及OCLC文献剔除专栏中案例调研,分析了美国高校教师参与图书馆文献剔除的原因,梳理了教师参与的政策规定,总结了教师参与的环节与效果。最后梳理我国现状,结合我国实际提出具体建议。Teaching faculty usually object to weeding programs in academic libraries.It is effective to involve faculty in weeding to win their support.However,the research and practical experience in China are relatively scarce.Through literature review and case study of OCLC Weeding and Deselection Bibliography column,this study seeks to reveal the reasons why faculty are fully encouraged to participate in American academic library weeding,to sort out the policies on how to gaurantee their participation,and to generalize the working flow and the effects.Finally,based on the situation of China,this study has put forward some suggestions.
