美国《防务新闻》网站有关中国防务新闻报道的批评话语分析:基于自建语料库的研究

摘　　要：以美国《防务新闻》(Defense News)网站中关于中国的防务新闻报道为研究对象,自建小型语料库,对该网站2018年至2019年关于中国防务报道的新闻话语展开基于语料库的批评话语分析。研究发现,《防务新闻》网站的报道侧重关注中国的影响力拓展、军事现代化发展及其区域军事活动。“China”“Military”和“Force”的索引行整体呈现出该网站对中国影响力发展以及中国军事现代化消极的语义评价。由此可以判断,《防务新闻》网在关于中国防务的报道中的对华思维呈现出负面态度,这值得我们关注和警惕。This research takes the news reports on China’s defense from the U.S.Defense News website as the research object,builds a small corpus and conducts a critical discourse analysis based on the news discourse of the website’s news coverage on China’s defense from 2018 to 2019.Through the analysis,it is found that Defense News’s reports mainly focus on China’s expansion of influence,military modernization and regional military activities.The concordance lines“China”“Military”and“Force”on the whole present the website’s negative semantic evaluation on China’s influence expansion and China’s military modernization.It can be concluded that the reports on China’s defense from Defense News reflects its negative attitude towards China,which deserves our attention and vigilance.
