东莞常平粤语的韵母系统及相关问题

摘　　要：常平镇位于东莞市东部,镇内各村使用的语言皆为粤语。调查发现,常平粤语的韵母系统十分特殊。没有单元音韵母[i];有舌尖元音[■];没有前高圆唇元音[y],但有前半低圆唇元音[■];没有介音,且比广州话更为彻底;韵母总数较少,包括自成音节的■在内只有27个韵母。这样的韵母系统有类型学上的价值,涉及到语言学和方言学中的很多重要问题,其成因同样值得探讨。Changping township is located in the east of Dongguan. Yue dialect is spoken in all the villages of Changping. Through our recent field work, we find out that the Changping dialect has a very special final system in which the [i] final is absent while an apical vowel [■] is present and the front close rounded [y] is absent but a front open-mid rounded [■] is present, that there is no medial sound in the final system, which is even more typical than the Guangzhou dialect, and that there are only 27 finals. This final system is so special that it has typological meanings. It involves a lot of important issues on linguistics and dialectology and its cause is also worth further investigation.
