摘　　要：《丛林下的冰河》和《北京人在纽约》分别是20世纪80年代和90年代留学生文学的代表作,但两部作品反映出完全不同的文化心态。《丛林下的冰河》体现了面对中美两种文化的犹豫不决,《北京人在纽约》则反映出对美国文化的贬低甚至是敌视。这种差异主要是由作家的创作心态和时代文化背景造成的。Glacier beneath the Jungle and Beijingers in New York are representatives of Liuxuesheng literature in 1980s and 1990s respectively.They reveal distinct cultural mindsets when confronting Sino-American cultural conflicts.The paper first discusses the differences and then explores the reasons from the aspects of author identity and socio-cultural background.
