《社会通诠》的翻译叙事干预研究--以对偶句为例

摘　　要：文章以对偶句为切入点,结合叙事干预理论,阐述了严复在《社会通诠》中的叙事话语,严复以隐性或显性的方式频繁“现身”于译文之中,以解释性干预建构新的文化符号,以评价性干预铸就读者信念,以概括性干预论证普世公理。翻译是译者的二次叙事或再叙事,于严复而言,是一种新的启蒙性质的“学术叙事”,叙事干预理论更加突出译者的身份立场以及话语方式,对推进严复研究有理论价值。She Hui Tong Quan is one of Yan Fu’s eight translated works.The original work A History of Politics introduces the western development history of society and politics,while Yan Fu added lots of personal opinions that makes the English and Chinese text quite different.There are massive antithesis deserves our attention.Yan Fu frequently“appears”in the translation works in an implicit or explicit way.This paper combined narrator’s intervention theory,which made a deep analysis of the translator’s intervention of interpretation,judgment and generalization in framing new cultural signs,molding reader’s beliefs and testifying the universal laws.Translation is a kind of secondary narration or renarration.For Yan Fu,it is enlightenment narration of academy and has theoretical significance to advancing studies on Yan Fu’s translation.
