摘　　要：本研究在中国语境下提出考察英语写作者文化身份的维度和参数,并通过对英语专业大学生撰写的英语新闻稿进行文本分析,讨论文化身份的具体特征及影响因素。研究发现:(1)中国大学生在英语新闻写作中体现的文化身份具有双重性,表现为中西方文化与思维的融合和交错表达,往往通过西方英语新闻写作模式讲述中国故事;(2)文化身份构成包括显性语言特征和隐性行文方式两大维度,该维度下各有4个参数,在具体语境中展现出写作者文化身份的多元性、动态性和变异性;(3)大学生写作者的英语水平和主题选择对于其总体文化身份的影响均不明显。本研究在英语通用语视角下提出的写作者文化身份测量标准可为相关实证研究提供思路和方法上的参考,同时也有待进一步修正和改进。This paper first proposes in the Chinese context the dimensions and parameters that measure the cultural identity of English writers and,by empirically analyzing the English news articles written by university students,discusses the characteristics of cultural identity as well as the factors that influence the construction of cultural identity.The study has yielded the major findings as follows:(1)The cultural identity of Chinese tertiary-level English news writers displays duality via the integrated and alternated expression of Chinese and Western cultural identities,often through telling Chinese stories on the basis of the Western English news writing norm;(2)Such cultural identity comprises the dominant dimension of explicit linguistic features and the subordinate dimension of implicit idea presentation,each with four parameters,exhibiting the multifariousness,dynamicity and variability of writers’cultural identity in specific contexts;(3)English proficiency and topic choice do not seem to significantly affect the overall cultural identity.The current study may shed light on the criteria for writers’cultural identity from an ELF perspective,yet remains to be modified and improved in future research.
