摘　　要：后现代性是建立在对现代性批判之基础上的,源于对现代性的反思与解构。法默尔于1995年出版的《公共行政的语言——官僚制、现代性和后现代性》一书标志着后现代公共行政理论的建立与后现代公共行政学派的形成。法默尔采取反思性语言范式对特殊主义、科学主义、技术主义、私营部门和解释学等现代公共行政理论的各种研究路径进行了解构,批判了各种路径导致的话语矛盾,采用想象、解构、非地域化、他在性等核心概念,建构了其后现代公共行政理论的基本话语体系。以法默尔《公共行政的语言》为代表的后现代公共行政理论为现代公共行政理论范式提供了一个反思视角,但是其自身也带有与生俱来的局限性,应该辩证看待。Postmodernity is based on the criticism of modernity,since it originates from the reflection and deconstruction of modernity.Written by David John Farmer,the book The Language of Public Administration——Bureaucracy,Modernity and Postmodernity published in 1995,which marked the establishment of postmodern public administration theory and the formation of postmodern school of public administration.Adopting a reflective language paradigm,Farmer deconstructs various research paths of modern public administration theory,such as particularism,scientism,technologism,private sector and hermeneutics,criticizes the discourse contradictions caused by these paths,and constructs the basic discourse system of postmodern public administration theory by adopting the core concepts of imagination,deconstruction,non-regionalization,and otherness.The postmodern public administration theory represented by Farmer’s The Language of Public Administration provides a reflective perspective for the theoretical paradigm of modern public administration,but it also has its inherent limitations and should be viewed dialectically.
