摘 要:《左氏探赜》是日本汉学家古贺煜对《左传》进行训释的著作。他充分肯定杜预注的地位与价值,同时又辩证地认识到杜预注的纰缪之处。他在注释中具有较强的批判意识,遇有争议处罗列各家观点以备之,对宋儒、清儒、日本学者的注释,既积极吸纳又进行有针对性的批评。他在注解时尚好征引《左传》材料,又常常以上下文语气、语势等对相关注释进行评判,同时还善用同时期的其他材料以证之,显现出比较严谨的实证考据意识。古贺煜立足于朱子学,却不囿于朱子学,折衷诸说,取长补短,形成兼收并蓄的学术趋向,促使江户末期的《左传》研究进一步向相互融合的大势上发展,具有重要的学术意义。Probing Tso Chuan was result of the Japanese sinologist Gu Heyu’s teaching and interpretation of Tso Chuan.He fully affirmed the status and value of Du Yu’s annotation,and at the same time recognized its drawbacks.Gu Heyu had a strong sense of criticism in his annotations,and when there were disputes,he listed various viewpoints.He actively absorbed and criticized the annotations of the Confucianists in the Song and Qing dynasties as well as the views of Japanese scholars.He was good at quoting from Tso Chuan,and often commented on the context and tone in relevant notes.At the same time,he also made good use of other material of the same period to enhance his understanding,showing a more rigorous awareness of empirical research.Based on but not confined to Zhuzi studies,Gu Heyu drew on others’strengths and formed an academic trend of eclecticism,which further promoted research on Tso Chuan in the late Edo period and which developed into a general trend of mutual integration.
