摘 要:中国传统的草木染色凝结菁华,代代相传,呈现其独特的文化和表现。古人有庞大的表述色彩及现象的词汇,从象形的文字中,我们不难发现其在取名和表意上的智慧,既有着诗兴的浪漫,同时从直观地表述色彩、材质、工艺的关系,在这些色彩名和用色中看到古人试图建立科学的色彩体系,其中最重要的一点是基于整体的丰富性和系统性,在这样的色彩系统中可以看到古人的宇宙观和多维的色彩文化表意。东方智慧的染色思想在古人的造物观中已经博大精深,在染色文化艺术中也反映这样的自然和色彩融合观。Traditional Chinese natural dyeing,as its best is passed on through the generations,presents its unique culture and manifestations.The ancients had a vast vocabulary to express color and its phenomena,such as the wisdom distinctly demonstrated in the pictograph in terms of naming and ideographical expression,both poetic and romantic.As to the intuitive expression of the relationship among colors,fabric and craftsmanship,it’s shown in these color names and use of colors that the ancients attempted to establish a scientific color system,the most important of which is its holistic richness and systemic integration.Therefore,such a color system gives us a picture of ancients’cosmic view and the multidimensional ideographical expression of color culture.The dyeing ideology full of oriental wisdom has been extensive and profound in the ancients’view of creation,and its emphasis on fusion of nature and color is also reflected in the art and culture of dyeing.
