对“十二皮部”称谓的探究

摘　　要："十二皮部"是目前公认的经络系统组成之一,为体表最外层组织结构——皮肤。李志道教授认为"十二皮部"称呼并不妥当。通过分析皮部一词的语法结构,表明其不能准确表达"皮肤"的含义。通过检索《黄帝内经》,发现在叙述生理病理治疗时使用"皮"字131次;使用"皮肤"92次;使用"皮毛"30次;而"皮部"一词全书仅出现3次,均指部位。故"十二皮部"这个称谓并不妥当,应称之为"十二皮肤"或"十二皮"。皮肤对于抵御外邪,防病传变,诊断、治疗疾病都有着重要作用。“Twelve pibu(cutaneous regions)”is currently recognized as one of the components of channel system.It is a tissue structure which lies on the outermost layer of human body,that is,skin.Professor Li Zhidao thinks that the appellation of“twelve pibu”is improper.The analysis on the Chinese syntax of pibu shows that the word could not exactly express the meaning of skin(pifu in Chinese).By searching Huangdi Neijing,it is found that the word“pi”appears 131 times,the word“pifu”appears 92 times,and the word“pimao”appears 30 times in the related narration of physiology,pathology and treatments.However,the word“pibu”only appears 3 times,and they all mean the parts of skin.So,the appellation of“twelve pibu”is improper.It should be called“twelve pifu”or“twelve pi”.Skin plays an important role in resisting external evil,preventing the transmission of disease,diagnosing and treating disease.
