摘　　要：《为拯救而书:路易斯•提尔档案》中,约翰•怀德曼通过对路易斯案件的探究,对美国司法系统的公正性提出了质疑。他借由“宏大时间”中多种时态并存的特性,采用双重时空叙事的方式,描写了路易斯一家与自己家庭的生活经历,将处于不同时空中的两个家庭并置、交融,形成了类比与互动。这种叙事方式的目的在于以过去观照现实,凸显历史的现实意义,表明路易斯案件所体现的种族问题在当下依然存在,是整个非裔美国族群正在面临的问题。In Writing to Save a Life:Louis Till File,John Wideman questions the impartiality of judicial system through the investigation of the Louis case.With the characteristics of coexistence of multiple temporal dimensions in“Great Time”,he adopts double space-time narration,depicting lives of the Louis family and his own,enabling the two families in different dimensions to parallel and merge into each other to make an analogy and interaction.The purpose of this narrative method is to perceive the reality through the past and emphasize the realistic significance of history.The work demonstrates that the problems displayed in the Louis case also exist at present,and they are the ones all the African Americans are still facing today.
