Large amounts of water leakage and water inflow in tunnel will cause the drop of water level of the surrounding strata and induce a large area of strata subsidence, threatening the safety of constructions(structures)and pipelines in the surrounding area.Considering the influence of atmospheric precipitation recharge,a calculation method for drawdown in surrounding strata induced by tunnel water leakage is established based on areal well theory, and practical application and analysis are conducted. The results show:(1)the drawdown curve of surrounding strata induced by tunnel water leakage is in a shape of symmetrical"subsidence trough",the closer to the tunnel center the more significant the drawdown;(2)the drawdown develops in a trend of log function with continuous water leakage;(3)for the studied project, water blocking measures should be taken in light of the drawdown more than 3 m in a scope of 50 m nearby after continuous water leakage of 30 d.
