摘  要:本文以时间为序,采用文献分析法对民国时期西藏学校英语教育状况进行了概述并指出,民国时期西藏学校英语教育的开办与发展烙有英国殖民文化色彩,是英国武力侵藏的文化延伸与渗透,其根本险恶用心就是企图要搞西藏独立。民国时期西藏学校英语教育也夹杂有西藏地方政府、民国中央政府文化觉醒和民族振兴意识,它的发展客观上也为近现代西藏教育及经济社会发展奠定了一定基础。This paper summarizes the school English education in Tibet in the Period of the Republic of China and points out that its establishment and development was characterized by the British colonial culture,which was the cultural extension and infiltration of the British invasion of Tibet.Its real purpose was Tibetan independence.During the Period of the Republic of China,The school English education in Tibet was also mixed with the awareness of the local government of Tibet,the central government of the Republic of China on cultural awakening and national rejuvenation,which objectively laid a certain foundation for the education and economic and social development of Tibet in modern times.
