Objective To investigate the significance of interleukin17(IL-17)levels in the prognosis of uroepithelium cell carcinoma of bladder(UCCB).Methods Totally 94 cases of UCCB who were treated by TURBT surgery from June 2014 to April 2018 were collected and their peripheral blood IL-17 levels were detected. The correlation between serum IL-17 levels and clinical data of UCCB patients was analyzed. The correlation between serum IL-17 levels and progression free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)of UCCB patients was analyzed by univariate and multivariate Cox regression. Results There was a certain correlation between the level of IL-17 and G grade in patients with UCCB.The results of survival analysis showed that the PFS and OS in high IL-17 group were significantly lower than those in low IL-17 group.Cox regression analysis showed that high levels of IL-17 were an independent risk factors for PFS and OS in patients with UCCB(P<0.05).Conclusion IL-17 was an independent risk factor for the prognosis of patients with UCCB,which could be used as a potential prognostic indicator.
