摘 要:文艺复兴的早期人文主义者开始关注人性,爱情自然进入他们探讨的视野之中。但是由于无法摆脱宗教思维的影响,他们演化出两种截然不同的爱情观,即“精神之爱”和“肉欲之爱”。前者试图在宗教的框架里确立爱情的正当性依据,后者则试图从对抗宗教的角度阐释爱情本质。最后两者殊途同归,都没有能够触及爱情的本质,一方在万般纠结中回归宗教,一方因为宗教和社会所不容而改弦易辙。但是,这两种爱情观都代表着对中世纪禁欲主义的挑战,提出了爱情正当性这一重要命题,体现了人文主义者对人性的思考。The earlier humanists of the Renaissance began to pay attention to human nature,and love naturally came into their category of study.However,because of their inability to avoid the influence of religious thinking,they evolved two completely different views on love,namely“platonic love”and“carnal love”.The former tried to establish the legitimate basis within the religious frame,while the later tried to elucidate the essence of love opposed to the reli⁃gion.In the end,the two have reached the same destination by different routes,and neither can touch the essence of love.One returns to religion in all kinds of conflicts,and the other changes its course because of the intolerance by neither religion nor society.However,these two views of love both represent a challenge to medieval asceticism,and put forward the important proposition of the legitimacy of love,which reflects the humanist thinking about human nature.
