Deconstructive translation points out that the purpose of translation is not to seek common ground, but to preserve differences. Therefore, the differences between languages should be reflected in the process of translation. Before the emergence of deconstructive translation theory,it is the focus of most translation theories that translation should strive to achieve"equivalence"between the source text and the target text. While deconstructive translation theory deconstructed the binary opposition between translation and the original in traditional translation theory and impacted upon the principles of"faithfulness"and"primacy of the original"dominating the traditional translation theory, through which the translator's subjectivity and creativity are affirmed, and the translator's position in translation is redefined. It has a positive and realistic significance in dealing with the relationship between the source text and the target text, and meanwhile creates conditions for the diversified development of translation studies.
