摘　　要：In this ambitious work,Fran^oise Dastur engages the motif of the nothing in Western and Eastern philosophies,attempting to go beyond narrow Eurocentrist philosophies in the task of creating a“thinking without borders”(9).By such an expression,Dastur does not mean what is known as“comparative philosophy,”but rather a sort of a non-Eurocentrist"connected history"(20),an approach that she clarifies in a prefatory chapter.
