亦谈“衔接”和“连贯”的概念界定及其关系说明

摘　　要：语篇学诞生已近半个世纪,但作为其研究基础的“衔接”和“连贯”的概念界定及关系说明依然处于见仁见智状态。文章从常识认知、学术思辨、实践需要等角度对此进行再探讨,指出:根据常识认知,将衔接同衔接纽带相对应的观点,认为衔接和连贯属于语义行为和语义表现的观点,以及强调连贯同语篇性不可分的观点,缺乏充分支持。根据学术思辨,认为存在有衔接无连贯现象的观点,以及认为存在有连贯无衔接现象的观点,经不起推敲。根据实践需要,应在承认广义连贯观的同时,承认衔接与连贯为“手段—效果”关系,承认狭义连贯观存在的必要性和合理性。有关狭义连贯的科学研究非但不应停止,还应大力加强,走向细化深化,通过增强狭义连贯语感判断的实证性、客观性、理据性以提升其科学水平。The definition of cohesion and coherence and explanation of their relations are still in a state of different opinions.This paper has a further study on it from perspective of common sense,academic speculation and practical needs.From perspective of common sense,there is no sufficient proof to support the view that cohesion and coherence belong to semantic behavior and semantic expression,or coherence is inseparable from discourse.From perspective of academic speculation,the view that there is cohesion and no coherence,or there is coherence and no cohesion,which can not stand scrutiny.From the perspective of practical needs,we should recognize the relationship between cohesion and coherence and the necessity and rationality of the narrow sense of coherence.The narrow sense of coherence should be strengthened,refined and deepened.
