摘　　要：文章通过回顾哈佛大学与麻省理工学院的办学起源、使命与校园形式与设计,对比不同社会角色影响下的两种校园空间模式——独立建筑模式与整合建筑模式。大学校园的空间形态应该是这所学校办学宗旨和组织结构的反映,并为其完成时代使命而服务。同时,面对当下新冠疫情形势的新挑战,对大学校园的未来作出展望。By reviewing the respective origin,mission and campus form and design of Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology,this paper compares the spatial modes of the two campuses influenced by different social roles—the separated building mode and the integrated building mode.It is argued that the spatial morphology of a university campus should reflect the educational goal and organization structure,as well as serve the university to achieve the mission of the times.Besides,the future of the university campus is prospected in the context of the current epidemic situation challenge.
