摘  要:11和12世纪欧洲的人文主义在历史上占有独特的地位,为西方文化提供了一些最基本的元素,并影响到现代世界的婚姻和家庭观念,譬如合意为婚姻基础的共识以及被普遍接受和严格执行的一夫一妻制度。中世纪人文主义的出现意味着西方思想文化发生了重大的变化,意味着这个时期的基督宗教开始更加明确地看重人的尊严和人的情感世界,更加充分认识到信仰生活与社会生活之间的密切联系。圣维克多修院的于格和格兰西分别是12世纪中期最重要的神学家和教会法学家。他们对爱情和婚姻问题的看法具有鲜明的人文主义特色,赞美夫妻之间的合意、柔情和忠诚,积极鼓吹他们心目中的男女平等和社会平等理想。Medieval humanism in the 11 th and the 12 th century played a unique and crucial role in the history of Europe,and out of it were born and bred many of the characteristics considered modern today in the world,such as strictly imposed monogamy and commonly held legal theory that the consent of the partners is indispensable in making a marriage.Humanism in this historical context,representing profound psychological changes,paid greater respect to human dignity and human love notwithstanding the realization that man was in his fallen state corrupt and disoriented.And this emphasis on human love,man’s love for himself and his neighbor,was integrated into his search for God.Both Hugh of Saint Victor and Gratian,respectively the great theologian and the most important canonist in the middle of the 12 th century,followed and made contributions to the changed mentality embedded in medieval humanism,and in their treatment of marital love promoted sexual and social equality while upholding the core values of mutual consent,affection and fidelity between husband and wife.
