Objective To evaluate and analyze the visual efficiency and information processing ability of children with different degrees of refractive errors,to understand the development of visual perception,to provide the basis for early intervention of abnormal children with refractive errors correction. Methods According to the diagnostic criteria of refractive error,160 children aged from 5 to 10 years old with different degrees of refractive error were evaluated by developmental eye movement test and rapid naming test respectively. Results With the increase of refractive error degree, the abnormal rate of developmental eye movement test increased gradually(42.6%,60%and 73.8%for longitudinal test;47.1%,66.0%and 73.8%for lateral test;39.7%,56.0%and 69.0%for vertical test;32.4%,48.0%and 59.5%for error number;all<0.05),and for rapid naming test(object name 35.3%,50.0%and 61.9%;color name 42.6%,58.0%and 69.0%;figure name 30.9%,44.0%and 57.1%;Chinese character name 38.2%,54.0%and 64.3%;2 columns 41.2%,58.0%and 71.4%;3 column 51.5%,64.0%and 78.6%,all<0.05).Conclusions Refractive errors may be one of the risk factors affecting the development of visual perceptual function in children and increases with the increase of refractive error.
