摘　　要：幽默作为一种轻松诙谐的艺术手法在演讲中发挥着十分重要的作用。然而,不同国家、不同文化孕育出的幽默又各不相同。是故本文旨在比较中美校园演讲中的幽默话题和语言特点。通过研究两国演讲中幽默的运用,不仅可以加深听众对不同国家演讲中幽默的理解,也有利于演讲爱好者创造更新颖更出色的幽默语言。Humor,as a witty and relaxing art,plays an indispensable part in public speeches.However,speakers with different cultural backgrounds always use various types of humor in their speeches.In light of this,this paper aims to explore linguistic characteristics and topics of humor in American and Chinese campus speeches so as to help people to understand various types of humor better.It also contributes to enlightening speech lovers to create more and more excellent humor.
