摘　　要：在中国,斯坦贝克及其作品享有较高的文学声誉和研究热情,学者们对其作品的研究涉及许多不同的角度,特别是有关无产阶级的内容。然而,将斯坦贝克作品与中国相联系的论文成果却不常见。从与中国历史背景相关、与中国社会相关、与无产阶级精神相关的三大元素出发去分析斯坦贝克的作品,阐释其在中国久负盛名的原因,对进一步了解中国社会的发展历程有着重要意义。In China,Steinbeck and his works enjoy a high literary reputation and research enthusiasm.The study of his works by scholars from many different perspectives,especially on the subject of proletarianism.However,there are few papers that link Steinbeck’s works with China.It is of great significance to further understand the development course of Chinese society and fathom out the reason why Steinbeck’s works have long enjoyed a great reputation in China,by analyzing three elements related to Chinese historical background,Chinese society and proletarian spirit.
