摘 要:“京派”的不少成员曾留学英美,在海外的文学活动成为他们文学主张、创作风格和审美趣味形成过程中不可或缺的一部分。以往相关研究常以单个作家为对象,考察异域体验对其创作之影响。如果将他们在海外的经历关联起来,放置到某个共同的场域中,似乎更能清晰地呈现出各种事件的因果联系,进一步了解中国现代文学流派和文艺思潮在海外的延展。纽约华美协进社正是一个值得探究的纽带和场域,它为“新月派”和“京派”的留美学子提供了与西方世界沟通的窗口,也为他们形成并践行相近的文艺观搭建了舞台。这个维度或有助于我们深入了解相关社团、流派发展的历史轨迹和复杂渊源。Many members of the“Beijing Literary Group”had studied in Britain and the United States.Their overseas activities have become an indispensable part in the formation of their literary ideas,writing styles and aesthetic tastes.Previous studies often focused on individual writers to investigate the influence of their foreign experience on their creation.If their overseas experiences are related and placed in a common field,it seems that the causal relationship of various events can be more clearly presented,and the overseas extension of modern Chinese literary schools and literary thoughts can be further understood.The China Institute in New York is a link and field worthy of exploration,which provided a window for the“Crescent Moon Society”and“Beijing Literary Group”students studying in the United States to communicate with the western world,and also set up a stage for them to form and practice similar views on literature and art.This dimension might help us to further understand the historical track and complex origin of the develop-ment of related societies and schools.
