叙事理论视角下外交话语的特征及英译分析

摘　　要：近年来,叙事理论开始关注叙事的语境、读者、意识形态及建构意义,适应了话语在外交领域的建构意义研究。以叙事学为视角,以习近平主席在"一带一路"国际合作高峰论坛开幕式上的演讲为例,分析其外交话语的叙事特征和英译。外交话语呈现出叙事的时间性、选择性采用和关联性特征,而外交话语英译实质则是通过选择性采用、时空建构、标示建构和参与者再定位策略进行再叙事,实现原叙事在目标语境中的叙事重构。叙事视角下分析外交话语特征及英译启示我们关注外交话语的叙事特征、叙事建构和重构意义。In recent years,Narratology has begun paying attention to the context,readers,ideology and its constructive function,which corresponds to diplomatic field study when it comes to constructive function of discourse.This paper,based on narratology and taking President Xi Jinping’s speech at the opening ceremony of the"Belt and Road"International Cooperation Summit Forums as example,analyzes the narrative features and its English translation of diplomatic discourse.It is found that diplomatic discourse shows narrative features of temporality,selective appropriation and relationality.The essence of diplomatic discourse transltion is a kind of renarration through selective appropriation,temporal and spatial framing,labelling and repositioning of participants,reconstructing the original narrative in new context.Analyzing the features and its translation of diplomatic discourse from the perspective of narratology enlightens us to focus on the narrative features,constructive and reconstructive functions of diplomatic discourse.
