摘 要:将数字映射到空间是一种常见的认知表征,在行为和神经成像领域都有研究。基于这些研究,学者发现了空间数字反应联合编码效应(SNARC效应),该效应是指当要求被试对数字进行奇偶判断时出现左手对小数字的反应比右手更快,右手对大数字的反应比左手更快的现象。这一发现有力地证明数字和空间在人类认知中是紧密联系在一起的。本文系统地回顾了关于数空联结的进化起源、发展轨迹、影响因素和神经生理学证据,对比了不同理论解释的优势和局限,并提出了3个有待进一步明确的问题。Mapping numbers onto space is a common cognitive representation that has been explored in both behavioral and neuroimaging contexts.Based on these researches,researchers found the Spatial-Numerical Association of Response Codes Effect(SNARC effect)that is when participants asked to make parity(odd/even)judgments were faster to respond to small numbers with the left hand and to larger to numbers with the right hand.The finding of this effect was indicated that numbers and space were closely linked in human cognition.This paper systematically reviewed the evidence on the evolutionary origin,development trajectory,influencing factors and neurophysiological research of the number-space association,compared the advantages and limitations of different theoretical explanations,and raised three questions that need to be further clarified.
