出版传播中书名号或引号之间的顿号用法刍议

摘　　要：《标点符号用法:GB/T 15834―2011》是关于标点符号用法的最新国家标准,具有规范性的作用。孤立解读内中“若有其他成分插在并列的引号之间或并列的书名号之间(如引语或书名号之后还有括注),宜用顿号”这一规定,容易产生误读。将其放在经济实用、逻辑自洽、以标对文、前后一致这四个原则中系统剖析,则有助于廓清国标关于顿号省略用法规定的理解路径,进而明确其中存有争议的部分。辨析之后发现:“《A》《B》和《C》”“《A》《B》和《C》(D)”这两类用法并不违反国标规定,是经济实用的用法,应该成为顿号省略用法的取向;“《A》、《B》、《C》(D)”“《A》(D)、《B》、《C》”“《A》、《B》(D)、《C》”“《A》(D)、《B》和《C》”“《A》、《B》(D)和《C》”这五类用法中的顿号不可或缺。将前述7种用法中的书名号换为引号,亦然。General Rules for Punctuation:GB/T 15834―2011 is the latest national standard on punctuation usage,which has a normative role.It provides that“the caesura sign needs to be used if there are other elements between parallel quotation marks or between parallel book title marks(such as enclosed notes after quotations or book title marks)”.This provision,however,if interpreted in isolation,will easily lead to misunderstanding.It should be analyzed from the following four principles:economy and practicability,logical self-consistency,using national standard to standardize the text,and consistency.These principles will help clarify the understanding path of the provision on whether caesura sign needs to be omitted in General Rules for Punctuation:GB/T 15834―2011,and then define the controversial part.After analysis,three opinions are formed.The first view is that“《A》《B》and(和)《C》”“《A》《B》and(和)《C》(D)”do not violate the provision of the national standard,but are economic and practical usages which should be the tendency of the usage of the caesura sign.The second view is that the caesura sign in“《A》、《B》、《C》(D)”“《A》(D)、《B》、《C》”“《A》、《B》(D)、《C》”“《A》(D)、《B》and(和)《C》”“《A》、《B》(D)and(和)《C》”cannot be omitted.The third view is that,if the book title marks in the above seven usages are changed into quotation marks,the conclusion remains unchanged.
