摘　　要：文章探讨了机能主义在美国心理学的内在发展脉络。机能主义是美国心理学中第一个独特的心理学体系,它在与构造心理学的争论中产生和获得发展。机能主义有芝加哥学派和哥伦比亚学派之分。机能主义最初从封闭的意识分析研究转向有机体适应外部环境关系的研究,这种研究重心的转变为后来的主流心理学所继承。行为主义将研究的焦点放在行为与环境的关系中,认知心理学侧重对认知过程的机能分析,人本主义强调对动力机能的研究,典型的心理学思潮对进化机能和具身机能也展开了研究。这些主流心理学流派和心理学思潮的研究取向都体现了美国心理学机能主义的研究倾向。This paper discusses the internal development of functionalism in American psychology.Functionalism is the first unique psychological system in American psychology,which has developed out of the arguments in structural psychology.Functionalism is divided into Chicago School and Columbia School.Functionalism initially shifted from the closed analysis of consciousness to the study of organisms'adaptation to the external environment.This shift was later inherited by mainstream psychology.Behaviorism focused on the relationship between behavior and environment;cognitive psychology emphasized functional analysis of cognitive processes;humanism emphasized the study of dynamic function;typical psychological thoughts have also studied evolutionary function and embodied function.The research orientations of these mainstream schools of psychology and psychological thoughts reflect the research tendency of American Psychological functionalism.
