摘 要:从知识生产模式的视角对基础研究和应用研究的特征、关系进行历史梳理的基础上,以某院士科研团队2003—2018年的科研项目为研究对象,采用扎根理论的研究方法,对该科研团队基础研究、应用研究的定位进行分析。研究表明,在应用硬科学领域团队知识生产过程中,基础研究与应用研究并不存在清晰的边界;相对于布什所认为的基础研究与应用研究间的线性关系,两者更倾向于一种包含关系,因此,在当下语境下科技政策制定过程中,"加强基础研究"需要考虑科学研究的学科属性,正确理解其内涵。Based on the historical analysis of the characteristics and relations of basic research and applied research from the perspective of knowledge production mode. Using the method of grounded theory, the paper analyzed the model of knowledge production of an academician’s team on the 15 years’ research projects. The paper argues that there is no clear boundary between the basic research and applied research. Every research project is the combination of the two research models. In addition, compared with the linear relationship between basic research and applied research as Bush believed, in the current context, between basic and applied research is inclined to containment relationship. Therefore, in the process of science and technology policy making, "strengthening basic research" needs to consider the disciplinary nature of scientific research and correctly understand its connotation.
