摘　　要：Reading Nabokov's Pale Fire is a magical discovery of artistry. Years elapsed, the"who invented whom"question remains an enigma. Through expounding four current interpretations and tracing the relationship among the major characters, the real author behind this intriguing work—Nabokov is reshaped. Meanwhile, several fundamental ideas prevalent in his literary creation are discussed, casting some light on the philosophy behind his literary creation.
