摘　　要：文章聚焦于出现"翻译热"的20世纪80年代,重点讨论由汪坦先生发起的具有开创性的"建筑理论译丛"的翻译工作,通过它问世的背景、背后的问题意识、书目的选择以及原文与译文差异的比较,指出"译丛"和当时的其他理论翻译虽然缺乏理论原初语境和学术史背景,也存在误解和局限,但是却改变了中国建筑话语的模式,推动了从革命的建筑话语到新的现代建筑话语的转变。This paper focuses on the translation of the seminal"Foreign Theoretical Book Series",initiated by Wang Tan in the 1980s.By looking at the circumstances in which the series was launched,considering the books selected for translation,and comparing the differences between the original texts and their translations,the paper illustrates the constraints on the translation process in the 1980s.It nevertheless argues that,despite these constraints,the translated texts changed the paradigm of Chinese architectural discourse,facilitating the replacement of revolutionary terminology with new,modern terminology.
