英语介词的认知语言学研究——以Over为例

摘　　要：本文将通过认知语言学的角度来研究介词,在介词over的基础上进行研究。在认知语言学的角度下,解释介词的含义,对over的本意进行阐释,说明介词over的语义扩展,然后提出语义网络和特点。在认知语言学的角度下构建了over的空间语义和非空间语义之间的联系,通过over的意象图式去解读over的空间语义。非空间语义是根据over空间方位的意象图式和隐喻的影响下形成的。除了意象图式和隐喻的转换,介词语义的扩展途径还有转喻,本文根据介词的认知来推测介词语义的结构特征,以期更好地理解和推断词汇的意义。In this paper,prepositions will be studied from the perspective of cognitive linguistics,based on the preposition over.From the perspective of cognitive linguistics,it explains the meaning of prepositions,interprets the original meaning of the preposition"over",explains the semantic expansion of the preposition"over",and then puts forward semantic network and characteristics.From the perspective of cognitive linguistics,the relationship between the spatial semantics of over and the non-spatial semantics is constructed,and the spatial semantics of"over"is interpreted through the image schema of"over".Non-spatial semantics are formed under the influence of image schema and metaphor of"over"spatial orientation.In addition to the transformation of image schema and metaphor,metonymy is also the way to expand the semantics of prepositions.In this paper,based on the cognition of prepositions,the structural features of preposition semantics are inferred in order to better understand and infer the meaning of words.
