“道德失范者”的“知识分子成长史”--由张炜《古船》说开去

摘　　要：对张炜20世纪80年代的小说创作进行回顾,可以注意到其在《古船》之前的中篇小说《秋天的思索》《秋天的愤怒》及其对应的主人公老得与李芒,其实是剖析隋抱朴如何从“道德失范者”转变为一类值得探究的知识分子人物的前提。而除了文体角度的“前史”,隋抱朴在《古船》的“前史”则牵扯着人物指向历史—现实的“污点”。隋抱朴在20世纪长篇小说知识分子形象谱系中的异质性,恰恰在于其在小说伊始的“出场”有悖于中国传统知识分子对应道德实践层面的规范。考量隋抱朴在《古船》中所形成的“知识分子成长史”,也是对20世纪80年代国内知识分子在特定历史环境下怎样处理由道德/非道德、神圣道德/世俗道德牵扯出的一系列问题的重新审视。A review of Zhang Wei’s novel creation in the 1980s reveals that his novellas Thinking in Autumn and Rage of Autumn,as well as their protagonists like Li Mang and Lao De are virtually the prerequisites for analyzing how the protagonist Sui Baopu in The Ancient Ship has transformed from a“person of moral anomie”to an intellectual of one category worthy of exploration.In addition to the“pre-history”from a stylistic perspective,Sui Baopu’s“pre-history”in The Ancient Ship involves the“stain”of the characters pointing to history and reality.The heterogeneity of Sui Baopu in the image pedigree of the intellectuals in the 20 th-century novels lies precisely in his“appearance”at the beginning of the novel,which is contrary to the norms of the corresponding moral practice of traditional Chinese intellectuals.A consideration of the“growth history of intellectuals”represented by Sui Baopu in The Ancient Ship is also a re-examination of how domestic intellectuals in the 1980s have dealt with a series of issues related to morality/immorality,sacred morality/secular morality in a specific historical environment.
