摘  要:注音字母是民国时期为统一国语和普及教育而制定的一套为汉字注音的符号体系。民国政府通过制定教育政策和法令、培养注音字母师资、在学校教授注音字母等多种方式积极推行注音字母。注音字母的推行促进了教育现代化的进程:注音字母提供了统一汉字读音的工具,促进了国语统一;注音字母提供了识字教育的工具,促进了识字教育的开展和教育的普及,此外注音字母方案为新中国成立后的汉语拼音方案提供了借鉴,注音字母运动也为新中国成立后的汉语拼音运动提供了历史经验。The phonetic alphabet is a system of symbols for the pronunciation of Chinese characters developed during the Republican era to unify the national language and popularize education.The government actively promoted the phonetic alphabet by formulating educational policies and decrees,training teachers for the phonetic alphabet,and teaching the phonetic alphabet in schools.On the one hand,the phonetic alphabet provided a tool for unifying the pronunciation of Chinese characters and promoting the unification of the national language;on the other hand,the phonetic alphabet provided a tool for literacy education and promoted the development of literacy education and the popularization of education;in addition,the phonetic alphabet scheme provided a reference for the Chinese phonetic system after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,and the phonetic alphabet movement also provided historical experience for the movement of Chinese phonetic system after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
