摘 要:本文基于1,265册商务英语教材和541篇论文,分析新中国成立70年来的商务英语教材发展和研究现状。研究发现,70年来商务英语教材发展呈现三个特点:1)经历了初创、发展、繁荣、成熟四个不同阶段;2)教材种类涵盖八大类,且听说类教材最多;3)教材重点从语言技能转向语言、商务、文化的交融。商务英语教材研究呈现两大特点:1)发表的论文量多质低,近10年来数量增长较快,这与《国标》和《指南》发布等关系到商务英语发展的重大事件密切相关;2)教材研究重点分散,缺少深度专题研究和数据实证研究。本文建议,今后商务英语教材从四个重点加强建设,从三个方面开展教材宏观和微观研究。Based on the data of 1,265 Business English(BE)textbooks and 541 academic papers,this study analyzes the development of BE textbook publication and research for 70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China.It is found that the development of BE textbooks has shown three features:1)it has gone through four historical stages of initiation,development,prosperity and maturity;2)it covers eight categories,with the listening and speaking ones as the majority;3)the focus has shifted from language skills to the intersection of language,business,and culture.Bussiness English textbook research shows two features:1)academic papers of BE textbook research are large in quantity but not very high in quality,with a rapid increase over the last 10 years,which is closely related to a series of major events such as the issuing of“the National Standard”and“the BE Teaching Guide”;2)the focus of BE textbook research is scattered,and there is a lack of data-based empirical studies.It is suggested that BE textbook development in the future should be strengthened from four focuses and macro and micro studies should be carried out from three aspects.
