摘　　要：巴特勒是美国著名的图书馆学家,从事图书馆学教育20余年。文章基于巴特勒的文章和教学实践,总结了他的图书馆学教育思想,即以“研究”为教育核心,重视通识教育和全面教育,强调图书馆学教育与图书馆职业的关联性,注重学生的个性发展。Butler is a famous American librarian and has been engaged in library education for more than 20 years.Based on Butler s articles and teaching practices,this article summarizes his ideas on library education of which with focuses on research as the core of education,emphasis on liberal and comprehensive education as well as the relevance of library education with the library profession,and the development of students personalities.
