摘　　要：被作者自称写出“灵与肉的生死搏斗”的《无名的裘德》是哈代的最后一部小说,其以悲怆的笔调描述了乡村青年裘德命运多舛的一生。在玛丽格伦、基督寺和奥尔布里坎三个不同的地理空间,裘德都无一例外地陷入了身份危机和意识形态冲突,文章试图将空间、身份与意识相结合,探讨裘德无名的根本原因。以裘德为代表的无名之辈与维多利亚时代格格不入,但是作者哈代却对他们表以关注和同情,由此可以看出这位诚挚而伟大作家的人道主义精神和宽广胸怀。Jude the Obscure,which the author claims to have written“the life and death struggle between spirit and flesh”,is Hardy’s last novel.The author describes the life of Jude,a young man in the countryside,with a sad tone.In the three different geographical spaces of Marygreen,Christminster and Aldbrickham,Jude is all caught in the identity crisis and ideological conflict without exception.This paper tries to combine space,identity and consciousness to explore the root cause of Jude’s obscurity.These unknown people,represented by Jude,are out of step with the Victorian era,but Hardy shows concern and sympathy for them,which embodies the sincere and great writer’s humanitarian spirit and broad mind.
