摘　　要：荷裔南非作家库切在其小说创作中描述了由种族隔离制度引发的南非种族矛盾问题,展示了帝国离散者的多重身份和双重视野,构成了独特的知识分子群体生态。小说通过边缘的知识分子女性伊丽莎白·科斯特洛的大胆发声、女探险者苏珊·巴顿的经典写作、受凌辱的女学生米兰妮·伊萨卡的舞台表演、大学教授卢里的学术抗争与田园探险,多层次、多方面地探究“他者”如何被历史隔离、疏远、湮灭,又如何通过自我书写和发声获得合法的历史叙述地位这一问题,形象而生动地展现了知识分子的群体生态。The Dutch-born South African writer J.M.Coetzee,in his novels,describes the racial contradictions in South Africa caused by the apartheid system,and shows multiple identities and dual vision of the imperial diaspora,which constitutes a unique intellectual community ecology.Through the daring voice by the marginal female intellectual Elizabeth Costello,the classical writing by the female explorer Susan Barton,the stage performance by the abused female student Melanie Isaacs,and the academic struggle together with the field exploration by the university professor David Luri,Coetzee’s novels have explored how“the others”are isolated,alienated and annihilated by history at different levels,in different aspects,and how“the others”obtain the legal status in historical narration by self-writing,through daring voice,thus vividly reveal the community ecology of writers.
