Objective To analyze the change and distribution of microbial population in stool samples of patients with post-stroke depression. Methods A total of 76 patients with post-stroke depression in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University from November 2018 to November 2020 were selected as the experimental group.A total of 76 healthy people who received physical examination in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University during the same period were selected as the control group. The change and distribution of microbial population in the two groups were analyzed. Results At the phylum level and genus level, there were differences in microbial community structure and relative abundance between the two groups(P<0.05).Except bacteroideae, there were differences in microbial community structure and relative abundance between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion The distribution of microbial population in stool samples of patients with post-stroke depression has great changes.
