个体成人目标体系的当代建构——培育基于传统的现代中国人

摘　　要：教育的根本问题是"培养什么样的人"。今日中国要培养品德优良、德才兼备的健全个体,与此同时,要培养的人不是抽象的,而是置身一定文化与现实背景中的具体的人,是传统与现代融合的人,是基于传统的现代中国人。因此,个体成人的具体目标质素应是审美、仁爱、科学、民主、和谐,个体成人教育的基本目标序列应是体天地之美,养仁爱之心,启科学之智,育民主之德,达中和之境。今日中国之健全个体应是立足中国而又面向世界、置身历史文化传统而又面向未来,科学素养与人文精神相结合、民族个性与启蒙精神相融合,有创新精神与实践能力且又有民族根基、有仁爱心灵而又有民主意识的现代中国人。The fundament question of education is"what kind of individual to cultivate".Today,China aims to cultivate sound individuals with good morals and ability.The individual should be integrated with tradition and modernity.Therefore,the specific objective quality of cultivation should cover aesthetics,benevolence,science,democracy,and harmony.The sequence of objectives should be appreciating goodness of the world,cultivating kindness,enlightening the wisdom of science,cultivating the virtue of democracy,and reaching the realm of neutrality.The sound individual should be based on China and the world;they should integrate historical and cultural traditions,facing the future;combine scientific literacy and humanistic spirit,national personality and enlightenment spirit,innovative spirit and practical ability;and be the modern Chinese with benevolence and democratic consciousness.
