摘　　要：张闻天的翻译手稿《西洋史大纲》是中国共产党早期领导人中难得见存的手稿遗珍,但学界却并未充分挖掘这部译稿的史料价值。张闻天的译者身份受革命家符号的影响,也并未受到应有的重视,基于《西洋史大纲》的翻译研究更是阙如。张闻天在入党前夕完成此译稿,其译笔浅易畅达,词锋锐利,译者介入度高,渗透着张闻天早期的进步思想和史学观,是一份值得深入挖掘的史料。The Story of Mankind,translated by Zhang Wentian,is one of the oldest and most precious manuscripts among existing research materials of early leaders of Communist Party of China.However,scholars haven't fully explored the historical value of this translation manuscript.Known as a revolutionist,Zhang Wentian's identity as a translator has not received due attention.Studies on The Story of Mankind from translation perspective are even scarce.Zhang Wentian completed this translation on the eve of joining the CPC.His translation is simple and easy to read,his words are sharp,and the translator is highly involved.It proved to be a historical material worthy of further exploration as it is permeated with Zhang Wentian's early progressive thoughts and historical views.
