摘 要:太极图的五层圈分别对应于太极、天道、地道、人道和万物化生之道。第一层圈表征太极本体,是天地之心与天地之理的结合;第二层圈表征天道,即万物通过气化而初生;第三层圈表征地道,即万物通过形化而再生;第四层圈表征人道,即人类文明的开端与确立,即肇始于伏羲而完成于孔子的人文挺立过程;第五层圈表征一个可能被人文力量所转化的宇宙,一个盛德之下才可能有的大业。通过衡之于《易》、核之于《太极图说》、验之于《通书》,并比之于《太极解义》,我们可以证成这一观点。The five circles of Taiji Diagram correspond to Taiji,the way of Heaven,the way of Earth,the way of Humanity and the way of transformation of everything.The first circle symbolizes Taiji as eternal reality.The second circle symbolizes the way of Heaven:that is to say,things come into being through energy.The third circle symbolizes the way of Earth:that is to say,things are transformed through material.The fourth circle symbolizes the establishment of human civilization by sages from Fuxi to Confucius.The fifth circle symbolizes a universe that may be transformed by human power,which could be achieved by human virtues or ruined by human vices.We can justify this point of view by weighing it with Yi,checking it with Taijitushuo,testing it with Tongshu,and comparing it with Taijijieyi.
