摘　　要：以茂名所辖2区3市的人口与社会经济数据为依据,提取9个自然灾害社会易损性指标,采用TOPSIS方法对茂名所辖2区3市的自然灾害社会易损性进行评价,揭示了茂名地区自然灾害社会易损性的区域分布特征,为地区自然灾害风险管理和区域综合防灾减灾提供科学依据。By applying principle component analysis method social vulnerability to natural disasters in 5 cities of Maoming region is discussed based on 9 main socioeconomic indexes.The principal components are constructed for the evaluation of social vulnerability to natural disaster based on TOPSIS method.The scores and ranks of the cities in Maoming region are calculated.Therefore the social vulnerability to natural disasters of corresponding regions is evaluated.
