摘  要:认识论是人类理解世界的认知方式,也是科学研究的重要手段和工具。认识论贯穿于人文社会科学研究的所有领域,传播学研究也不例外。迄今为止,人类创造的最为重要的认识论包括源自哲学领域的理性主义、经验主义以及实用主义,它们也成为传播学研究的认识论基础。由于这些认识论固有的局限,造成了传播学研究的思想悖论,作为认识论派生物的传播学研究方法也面临着同样的困境。Epistemology is the cognitive way of human beings to understand the world,and it is also an important means and tools of science research.Epistemology runs through all the fields of humanities and social sciences,and communication studies are no exception.So far,the most important epistemology created by mankind includes rationalism,empiricism and pragmatism which come from the field of philosophy.They have also become the epistemological foundation of communication studies.However,the inherent limitations of these epistemologies also lead to the intellectual paradox of communication studies.The communication study methods as the derivatives of epistemology face the same dilemma.
