摘　　要：跨国传媒史的理论与实践正在西方兴起。跨国传媒史研究是西方新闻史学界对20世纪90年代以来历史研究"跨国转向"的回应。作为一种研究视角,它借鉴后殖民主义和文化研究理论,主张超越地方叙事及单一国族阐释框架,在跨国交往和全球语境中研究新闻传媒的历史现象。采取跨国视角固然不是新闻史研究的唯一做法,但它在国族叙事框架和中外文化交流史之外,为我国新闻史学术生产提供了一种新视角。The theory and practice of transnational media history is burgeoning in the West.The study of transnational media history is the response of the Western journalism historians to the"transnational turn"of historical research since the 1990 s.As a research approach to writing journalism and media history,transnational media history rests on theories of post-colonialism and cultural studies,advocating going beyond local narratives and investigating the history media landscapes in the contexts of transnational entanglements and globalization.Though it is not necessarily the only approach to writing journalism history,transnational media history provides a vivid perspective which goes beyond the national frame of reference and the local tradition of"Sino-Westem Exchange Histories".
