摘　　要：“中和”具有多层次的内涵,贯穿于中华民族传统文化的宇宙本体论、生成演化论、社会历史观、认识论、价值观和伦理思想之中。中国传统“中和”伦理思想是中国传统“中和”思想的重要组成部分。中国传统“中和”伦理思想内涵丰富,渗透于社会生活的各个领域和个人活动的方方面面,体现着人们对宇宙、社会、人生、自然的总体认识、价值理想和行为准则,具有广泛渗透性和普适性。中国传统“中和”伦理思想既是一种理想的道德价值目标,也是处理各种社会关系的道德规范,还是个人应该具备的道德品质或德性,同时,“执两用中”“过犹不及”“和而不同”“时中”也是调节社会道德关系和个人道德选择的重要方法论,引导人们正确认识和处理人与人、人与社会、人与自然、人与自身等各种社会关系。With its multi-level connotation,the thought of balanced harmony runs through the cosmological ontology,the theory of generation and evolution,the view of social history,the theory of knowledge,values and ethics in the traditional Chinese culture.An important component of this thought is its traditional ethics,which has rich connotations and permeates all areas of social life and all aspects of personal activities.It embodies people’s overall understanding of the universe,society,life,and nature,values,ideals,and codes of conduct.It is not only an ideal moral value goal,but also a moral code for dealing with various social relations,or a moral character or virtue that an individual should possess.At the same time,there are important methodologies to regulate social moral relations and personal moral choice,to guide in their recognition and handling of various social relations between people,people and society,people and nature,and people and themselves like“Listen to both sides and choose the middle course”,“Going beyond the limit is as bad as falling short”,“Harmony in diversity”and“Follow the golden mean”.
